What started as a cycling-focused marketing firm, Velimpex, in 1987, evolved into something more: a full-fledged e-commerce brand founded by Tom Petrie. Tom named the company after the very road he learned to ride a bike on in Yonkers, New York — a place of first gears, first falls, and a lifelong love of cycling.
